Message from Chairperson
The Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Association warmly welcomes you to the Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Conference 2025. This year’s theme is “Enhancing Health & Well-Being through Occupational Therapy: Holistic Approaches Across the Lifespan.”
In collaboration with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tung Wah College, and the Education University of Hong Kong, we are proud to sustain this important local conference, focusing on the development and provision of evidence-based services. Historically, our emphasis has been on the medical model and hospital-based services. However, occupational therapy is crucial in helping clients integrate into their communities and living environments.
Addressing mental health among students is a key priority. We aim to explore leadership, optimal use of technology, and entrepreneurial approaches to support individuals in their recovery and reintegration into society, broadening our scope of service development.
The Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Conference 2025 will take place on December 6, 2025. Additionally, we will host three individual workshops: a pre-conference workshop on December 5, followed by post-conference workshops on December 7 and December 8-9. Our website will be regularly updated with details about the event series.
We encourage all colleagues to contribute to the conference by submitting your papers. Your research and experiences are vital to advancing our field and fostering a collaborative environment.
